There are two very different things inside Bubblegum x Runtz. Indiana Bubblegum, the original Indiana bubblegum plant, and the standard every later candy strain is measured against. And Runtz, the candy plant the whole modern sweet-flavour category was built on. What CSI sell is access to their clone collection in seed form. The parents are the cuts themselves, not a line bred to resemble them.

Written this way, Indiana Bubblegum is the mother and Runtz the pollen donor. Reversing a cross is not a formality; which plant carries the seed shapes what comes out of the pack.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Indiana Bubblegum. The original Indiana bubblegum plant, and the standard every later candy strain is measured against. Wants a moderate level of experience.
• Father: Runtz. Zkittlez crossed to Gelato #33, and the plant that defined the modern candy category. That one comes from Zkittlez x Gelato #33. Rated intermediate and sensitive to humidity swings and temperature stress - keep the room steady.
• Why it is worth a pack rather than a look. The two sides are far enough apart that seedlings genuinely differ. That range is the product.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two distinct smells, and a pack will give you both plus everything between.

• The Aroma. Pink bubblegum first, then cotton candy, strawberry taffy and vanilla cream, with ripe berry and a faint hash note from the Indiana Bubblegum side, against fruit sweets and sour berry on cream, with pepper and gas at the back from the Runtz side.
• The Taste. Cotton candy and ripe berry with a creamy finish up front, turning to sweet berry and cream, finishing with a light gassiness through the exhale.

What each side brings

• Two different harvest dates. Seven to eight weeks, some reporting sixty to sixty-five days for Indiana Bubblegum, eight to nine weeks, with fast plants at fifty-five to sixty days for Runtz. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.
• Two noses, one pack. Indiana Bubblegum contributes pink bubblegum first, then cotton candy, strawberry taffy and vanilla cream, with ripe berry and a faint hash note. Runtz contributes sugary fruit and sour berry over creamy vanilla, closing on a peppery gas note. Which dominates is the main thing that varies.
• Two frames in one pack. Indiana Bubblegum is medium-tall on a slender, sparse frame; roughly doubles in height after the flip; heavy trichome coverage on dense buds. Runtz is manageable medium height with sturdy lateral branching; dense buds under a serious frost, deep greens and purples. Decide which suits your room before you flip, because you get both.
• Opposite ends. Indiana Bubblegum is reported as softer and more relaxed; Runtz as balanced and even. The cross sits somewhere between and moves plant to plant.
