UK Cheese x Forbidden Fruit brings UK Cheese together with Forbidden Fruit. The first is the Exodus clone - a single Skunk #1 plant found in Britain around the turn of the 1990s and kept ever since; the second, Cherry Pie crossed to Tangie - dark cherry against bright citrus. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. What CSI sell is access to their clone collection in seed form. The parents are the cuts themselves, not a line bred to resemble them.

Order matters in a cross name. In UK Cheese x Forbidden Fruit the UK Cheese side supplied the seed and Forbidden Fruit the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two distinct smells, and a pack will give you both plus everything between.

• The Aroma. Tangy cheddar over earthy, skunky sweetness, loud enough to fill a house from the UK Cheese side, against dark cherry and bright orange citrus from the Forbidden Fruit side.
• The Taste. Sour and cheesy with skunk underneath, finishing earthy and lingering up front, turning to passionfruit and cherry with a citrus lift through the exhale.

Where the parents disagree

• Timing splits the pack. One parent wants seven to nine weeks depending on source, the other nine to ten weeks indoors. Expect the fast plants down well before the slow ones are ready.
