Dairy Queen (Cheese x Space Queen) sits between UK Cheese and Space Queen: the Exodus clone - a single Skunk #1 plant found in Britain around the turn of the 1990s and kept ever since on one side, Vic High's Romulan crossed to Cinderella 99 on the other. Old, kept, worked plants rather than recent acquisitions - that is the whole character of this catalogue.

Written this way, UK Cheese is the mother and Space Queen the pollen donor. Reversing a cross is not a formality; which plant carries the seed shapes what comes out of the pack.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: UK Cheese. The Exodus clone - a single Skunk #1 plant found in Britain around the turn of the 1990s and kept ever since. Built from a Skunk #1 phenotype, not a cross. Famously forgiving and often recommended to beginners; spread by the Exodus Collective.
• Father: Space Queen. A BC cross of Romulan to Cinderella 99, and one of the classic balanced hybrids. Parentage: given as Romulan x Cinderella 99. Cinderella 99 brings the tropical terpinolene lift and the fast finish; Romulan brings the resin, the heavier calyx and the body weight. Bred by Vic High of the BC Growers Association and later popularised by Subcool.
• What the cross is reaching for. One side brings the structure and the other brings the nose. The plants worth keeping out of a pack are the ones that hold both rather than picking a side.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two distinct smells, and a pack will give you both plus everything between.

• The Aroma. Tangy cheddar over earthy, skunky sweetness, loud enough to fill a house from the UK Cheese side, against tropical fruit off the Cinderella 99 side from the Space Queen side.
• The Taste. Sour cheese and earth up front, turning to sweet and fruit-forward through the exhale.

• Timing splits the pack. One parent wants seven to nine weeks depending on source, the other fifty to sixty days - call it seven to nine weeks. Expect the fast plants down well before the slow ones are ready.
