Dirty Starbux (Koffee F3 x ChemDDf3) – Sow Good Seeds brings Koffee together with Chem D. The first is a Pacific NW Roots Alien cross with a genuine coffee note; the second, the workhorse of the Chem family and the cut breeders reach for most. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. The f3 designation is not decoration: it means the father has been grown out and culled twice more than a first cross would be.

Koffee sits on the seed side here, Chem D on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Koffee. A Pacific NW Roots Alien cross with a genuine coffee note. Built from Alien OG x Alien Kush (F2 cut). Pacific NW Roots select in cool, wet coastal conditions as well as drier inland ones, which is unusual and shows up as resilience..
• Father: Chem D. The most-used of the 1991 Chem phenotypes, and the one sitting behind Giesel. Built from another phenotype from the same 1991 seed lot. It is the Chem half of Giesel, and one of the most widely used Chem cuts in American breeding.
• The point of the pairing. Neither parent needed rescuing. Putting them together is about what sits between them, not about fixing either one.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two distinct smells, and a pack will give you both plus everything between.

• The Aroma. Roasted coffee over a sharp OG base from the Koffee side, against chemical fuel over dark, turned earth from the Chem D side.
• The Taste. Bitter coffee and pine up front, turning to fuel and earth, greasy and coating, finishing sour through the exhale.

• What to budget. The documented side, Koffee, runs eight to nine weeks. Set the room to that and let the plants correct you.
• The smell is a negotiation. Roasted coffee over a sharp og base on one side against chemical fuel over dark turned earth on the other. Neither wins outright in every seedling.
• Structure varies hard here. Dense, dark flower on a compact plant from one parent; open and loose rather than compact, wants support once the colas load from the other. Plan the canopy for the taller outcome.
• They pull differently. Growers put Koffee at strong and settling and Chem D at alert and head-forward rather than heavy. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Koffee is dense, dark flower on a compact plant. Chem D is a sprawler that needs propping once weight goes on the branches.
• Vegetative Phase and Stretch. Shape the plant before the flip. Correcting a frame in week six is harder work than setting it in week two.
• Flowering Time. Koffee runs eight to nine weeks. Start checking trichomes a week before you expect to be ready.
