Durban Poison (a pure sativa landrace from near the port city of Durban in South Africa) was reversed and pollinated with itself, which is how a cut that never made seed on its own ends up in a packet. It carries sweet and earthy with a distinctive anise or liquorice note. Expect variations on that one plant, not a new hybrid.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother and Father: Durban Poison, selfed. A pure sativa landrace from near the port city of Durban in South Africa. Its own cross is a landrace, not a cross. Used as breeding stock worldwide for decades, most famously as one half of Cherry Pie.
• What a reversal is for. It puts a clone-only plant into seed without introducing anything foreign. That is preservation work rather than breeding, and it is most of what Humboldt CSI actually do.
