Headband carries a 56 because selections get numbered to stay distinguishable once they leave the room they were made in. It marks this exact mother, and it is the part of the name worth reading closely.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The two halves stack rather than blend, which is the whole reason to run it.

• The Aroma. Earthy and piney with citrus, a little fuel underneath, and a spiced lemon-diesel note over the whole thing from the Loompa's Headband side, against the Chem fuel and sour earth, with its own sharper edge from the Chem 4 side.
• The Taste. Lemon and diesel giving way to dank kush and earthy herbs, spiced at the finish up front, turning to fuel and sour earth, mouth-coating through the exhale.

How the two sides differ

• What to budget. The documented side, Chem 4, runs seven to eight weeks, and up to ten by phenotype. Set the room to that and let the plants correct you.
• Two noses, one pack. Loompa's Headband contributes rich earth with pine and citrus over a hint of fuel, and a spicy lemony diesel note across all of it. Chem 4 contributes diesel fuel and chemical funk over sharp earth. Which dominates is the main thing that varies.
• Build. On the Loompa's Headband side: indica-leaning, at the more manageable end of the OG family. On the Chem 4 side: stretches once flipped; medium height with strong lateral branching and tight internodes when crossed out. Select early rather than trying to train your way out of it.
