Headband (Notso) x Triangle Kush is Loompa's Headband crossed to Triangle Kush. Loompa's Headband is the Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG. Triangle Kush is the Florida cut behind a great deal of the OG family. Between them they cover ground neither reaches alone. Humboldt CSI work almost entirely from clones they hold themselves, so both sides of this are the real thing rather than a seed-line approximation of it.

Loompa's Headband sits on the seed side here, Triangle Kush on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Loompa's Headband. The Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG. Built from OG Kush x Sour Diesel, roughly sixty-forty indica.
• Father: Triangle Kush. The Florida cut that sits at the root of the OG family and has fathered more of the modern index than almost anything else. Lighter on the pine and cleaner-fluid terpenes than its reputation suggests, which is why breeders pair it with louder cuts; Humboldt CSI's 5150 is their pick out of a large Triangle Kush S1 population.
• Why these two. They are not variations on the same idea. They pull in different directions, and that spread is what makes a pack worth hunting through rather than just growing.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The two halves stack rather than blend, which is the whole reason to run it.

• The Aroma. Rich earth, pine and citrus over a trace of fuel, with a spiced lemony diesel running through it from the Loompa's Headband side, against restrained OG earth and pine from the Triangle Kush side.
• The Taste. Lemon and diesel turning to dank kush and earthy herbs with a spiced finish up front, turning to earthy pine with OG weight behind it, cleaner at the finish than at the start through the exhale.

How the two sides differ

• What to budget. The documented side, Triangle Kush, runs eight to nine weeks, reported sixty-three to seventy-seven days with most growers near seventy. Set the room to that and let the plants correct you.
• Where the nose comes from. One side gives rich earth with pine and citrus over a hint of fuel, and a spicy lemony diesel note across all of it; the other gives classic OG earth and pine, noticeably restrained rather than loud. Plants landing in the middle are the keepers.
• Two frames in one pack. Loompa's Headband is indica-leaning, at the more manageable end of the OG family. Triangle Kush is stocky and bushy at moderate indoor height, up to two metres outdoors; vegs vigorously and throws heavy foliage; takes trimming, defoliation and lollipopping well; dense bright green flower under heavy resin. Decide which suits your room before you flip, because you get both.
• They pull differently. Growers put Loompa's Headband at focused; real indica weight and Triangle Kush at the potent, focused end of the OG family. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.
