There are two very different things inside Imperial Majesty (Pure Og x 88 g13 /Hp). Pure OG Kush, the first OG Kush clone CSI ever held, most likely an early OG Kush S1 from the late 1990s or the start of the 2000s. And 88g13 Hash Plant, the male Bodhi use as a bridge between modern clones and old hash-plant character. Bodhi crosses forward rather than inbreeding, which is why these come as regular seed and why the male on the pack tells you as much as the female does.

Order matters in a cross name. In Imperial Majesty (Pure Og x 88 g13 /Hp) the Pure OG Kush side supplied the seed and 88g13 Hash Plant the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Pure OG Kush. The first OG Kush clone CSI ever held, most likely an early OG Kush S1 from the late 1990s or the start of the 2000s. CSI put its willingness to hybridize down to that S1 background.
• Father: 88g13 Hash Plant. A G13 and Hash Plant male with an unusually well-documented provenance. Its own cross is given as G13 crossed to a Hash Plant and Northern Lights #1 line. It was bred by NDNguy from stock Neville Schoenmaker gave him, which is most of why it carries the reputation it does.
• How to read it. Everything below splits into what one parent gives and what the other does. Plants that take from both are the ones to keep.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The two halves stack rather than blend, which is the whole reason to run it.

• The Aroma. The classic OG signature - earth and pine with a fuel edge from the Pure OG Kush side, against burnt rubber and skunk with old hash underneath, loud but not domineering from the 88g13 Hash Plant side.
• The Taste. Earthy and piney with OG weight, finishing sharper than it starts up front, turning to hash and rubber over whatever the mother contributed through the exhale.

The two halves, side by side

• Timing. 88g13 Hash Plant runs quick, on many of its offspring - it is one of the reasons the male gets used, and that is the half of this cross you can actually plan around.
• Two noses, one pack. Pure OG Kush contributes the classic OG signature - earth and pine with a fuel edge. 88g13 Hash Plant contributes burnt rubber, skunk and hash - loud, but it does not bury what the mother brings. Which dominates is the main thing that varies.
• Build. On the Pure OG Kush side: OG-type plants open out rather than fill in. On the 88g13 Hash Plant side: it puts branch strength into its offspring, and many of its crosses finish quickly. Bodhi advise a longer veg with it. Select early rather than trying to train your way out of it.
• They pull differently. Growers put Pure OG Kush at potent and focused; settling and physical and 88g13 Hash Plant at the resin and the weight the hash-plant family is kept for. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Pure OG Kush is OG-type plants open out rather than fill in. 88g13 Hash Plant is it hands down branch strength, and a good number of its offspring finish early; Bodhi ask for a longer veg with it.
• Vegetative Phase and Stretch. Shape the plant before the flip. Correcting a frame in week six is harder work than setting it in week two.
• Flowering Time. 88g13 Hash Plant runs quick, on many of its offspring - it is one of the reasons the male gets used. Start checking trichomes a week before you expect to be ready.

Effects and Experience

• The Mind. Growers describe Pure OG Kush as potent and focused; settling and physical.
• The Body. 88g13 Hash Plant is reported as the resin and the weight the hash-plant family is kept for, and that is the side supplying the weight here.
