Jager x Cherry Pie brings Jager together with Cherry Pie. The first is an indica-dominant hybrid out of the Pacific Northwest, Oregon in particular, from the early 2010s; the second, Granddaddy Purple crossed to Durban Poison, roughly sixty-forty indica. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. Every parent CSI use is a cut they keep alive themselves, so nothing in this pack is a reconstruction of a famous name.

Written this way, Jager is the mother and Cherry Pie the pollen donor. Reversing a cross is not a formality; which plant carries the seed shapes what comes out of the pack.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Neither parent is subtle, and the cross has nowhere quiet to go.

• The Aroma. Black liquorice and anise with musk, damp earth and woody, spicy undertones from the Jager side, against dark stone fruit and berry over earth from the Cherry Pie side.
• The Taste. Liquorice and anise finishing earthy, woody and faintly spiced up front, turning to berry and cherry with earth underneath at the finish through the exhale.

The two halves, side by side

• Timing splits the pack. One parent wants eight to ten weeks indoors, the other eight to nine weeks. Expect the fast plants down well before the slow ones are ready.
• Two noses, one pack. Jager contributes black liquorice and anise with musk, damp earth and woody, spicy undertones. Cherry Pie contributes dark stone fruit and berry over earth. Which dominates is the main thing that varies.
• Structure varies hard here. Indica-dominant and compact from one parent; short and bushy at eighty to a hundred and twenty centimetres with wide lateral branching that suits low-stress training from the other. Plan the canopy for the taller outcome.
• They pull differently. Growers put Jager at settled; physical and relaxing and Cherry Pie at settling. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Jager is indica-dominant and compact. Cherry Pie is a wide, low plant - under about one hundred and twenty centimetres - whose lateral branching takes LST well.
• Training. Worth the effort early - it is the difference between an even canopy and three colas and a lot of leaf.
• Flowering Time. The parents are not on the same clock. Jager runs eight to ten weeks indoors, Cherry Pie eight to nine weeks. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.

Effects and Experience

• The Mind. Growers describe Jager as settled; physical and relaxing.
• The Body. Cherry Pie is reported as settling, and that is the side supplying the weight here.
