There are two very different things inside Lemon party x Runtz. Lemon Party: CSI's own lemon cut, which they identify as a Lemon Tree selection. And Runtz: Zkittlez crossed to Gelato #33, and the plant that defined the modern candy category. Both parents here are cuts CSI keep in their own room. That is the whole difference between this and a seed line named after the same strains.

Order matters in a cross name. In Lemon party x Runtz the Lemon Party side supplied the seed and Runtz the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Lemon Party. A Lemon Tree pick CSI keep in house, and one of the loudest citrus plants anyone runs. Parentage: a cut of Lemon Tree.
• Father: Runtz. The candy plant the whole modern sweet-flavour category was built on. Given as Zkittlez x Gelato #33. Rated intermediate and sensitive to humidity swings and temperature stress - keep the room steady.
• What to expect across a pack. Two distinct parents means real variation in frame, finish and nose. Select early and take cuttings off anything you would want again.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The two halves stack rather than blend, which is the whole reason to run it.

• The Aroma. Sharp zesty lemon and sugary citrus - closer to candied lemon than fresh from the Lemon Party side, against fruit sweets and sour berry on cream, with pepper and gas at the back from the Runtz side.
• The Taste. Bright lemon with a sour citrus bite, turning earthier up front, turning to sweet berry and cream, finishing with a light gassiness through the exhale.

How the two sides differ

• Timing splits the pack. One parent wants around sixty-five days, reported sixty to seventy, the other eight to nine weeks, with fast plants at fifty-five to sixty days. Expect the fast plants down well before the slow ones are ready.
• Where the nose comes from. One side gives sharp zesty lemon and sugary citrus, described as overpowering candied lemon and super pungent; the other gives sugary fruit and sour berry over creamy vanilla, closing on a peppery gas note. Plants landing in the middle are the keepers.
• Structure varies hard here. Medium height, indoors or outdoors; flowers heavily coated in trichomes with vibrant orange pistils from one parent; manageable medium height with sturdy lateral branching; dense buds under a serious frost, deep greens and purples from the other. Plan the canopy for the taller outcome.
• They pull differently. Growers put Lemon Party at bright and lifting rather than heavy and Runtz at balanced and even. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Lemon Party is medium height, indoors or outdoors; flowers heavily coated in trichomes with vibrant orange pistils. Runtz is manageable medium height with sturdy lateral branching; dense buds under a serious frost, deep greens and purples.
• Vegetative Phase and Training. Open the middle out early. Light reaching the lower sites is worth more than any late correction.
• Flowering Time. The parents are not on the same clock. Lemon Party runs around sixty-five days, reported sixty to seventy, Runtz eight to nine weeks, with fast plants at fifty-five to sixty days. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.
