Loompa’s Headband x Purple Punch puts Loompa's Headband over Purple Punch. One is the Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG; the other is a Larry OG and Granddaddy Purple cross that made grape candy a category. Two very different plants, and the point of the cross is what sits between them. What CSI sell is access to their clone collection in seed form. The parents are the cuts themselves, not a line bred to resemble them.

Loompa's Headband sits on the seed side here, Purple Punch on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Loompa's Headband. The Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG. Parentage: OG Kush x Sour Diesel, roughly sixty-forty indica.
• Father: Purple Punch. Larry OG crossed to Granddaddy Purple, and the plant that set the bar for sweet. Built from Larry OG x Granddaddy Purple.
• How to read it. Everything below splits into what one parent gives and what the other does. Plants that take from both are the ones to keep.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two distinct smells, and a pack will give you both plus everything between.

• The Aroma. Earthy and piney with citrus, a little fuel underneath, and a spiced lemon-diesel note over the whole thing from the Loompa's Headband side, against confected grape with berry and a muffin-like sweetness behind it from the Purple Punch side.
• The Taste. Diesel and lemon into herbal kush earth, closing spiced up front, turning to sweet candy-grape, vanilla and tart berry, closing on a faint earthy spice through the exhale.

How the two sides differ

• Timing. Purple Punch runs seven to nine weeks indoors, and that is the half of this cross you can actually plan around.
• Where the nose comes from. One side gives rich earth with pine and citrus over a hint of fuel, and a spicy lemony diesel note across all of it; the other gives grape candy first, then blueberry muffin and tropical punch. Plants landing in the middle are the keepers.
• Build. On the Loompa's Headband side: indica-leaning, at the more manageable end of the OG family. On the Purple Punch side: short and stocky, carries its own weight; dense flower with deep purple colouring and a heavy resin load. Select early rather than trying to train your way out of it.
• They pull differently. Growers put Loompa's Headband at focused; real indica weight and Purple Punch at even rather than racy; strongly indica-leaning and settling. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Loompa's Headband is indica-leaning, at the more manageable end of the OG family. Purple Punch is short and stocky, carries its own weight; dense flower with deep purple colouring and a heavy resin load.

• Flowering Time. Purple Punch runs seven to nine weeks indoors. Start checking trichomes a week before you expect to be ready.
