Take Loompa's Headband, the Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG, and put it over Runtz, the candy plant the whole modern sweet-flavour category was built on. That is Loompa’s Headband x Runtz. Every parent CSI use is a cut they keep alive themselves, so nothing in this pack is a reconstruction of a famous name.

Order matters in a cross name. In Loompa’s Headband x Runtz the Loompa's Headband side supplied the seed and Runtz the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Loompa's Headband. The Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG. It traces back to OG Kush x Sour Diesel, roughly sixty-forty indica.
• Father: Runtz. The candy plant the whole modern sweet-flavour category was built on. Parentage: Zkittlez x Gelato #33. Rated intermediate and sensitive to humidity swings and temperature stress - keep the room steady.
• What the cross is reaching for. One side brings the structure and the other brings the nose. The plants worth keeping out of a pack are the ones that hold both rather than picking a side.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two distinct smells, and a pack will give you both plus everything between.

• The Aroma. Earthy and piney with citrus, a little fuel underneath, and a spiced lemon-diesel note over the whole thing from the Loompa's Headband side, against sour berry and sweet fruit on a creamy base, with a peppery fuel note at the end from the Runtz side.
• The Taste. Lemon-diesel opening onto herbal kush and earth, spiced at the close up front, turning to sweet berry and cream, finishing with a light gassiness through the exhale.

The two halves, side by side

• Timing. Runtz runs eight to nine weeks, with fast plants at fifty-five to sixty days, and that is the half of this cross you can actually plan around.
• The smell is a negotiation. Rich earth with pine and citrus over a hint of fuel, and a spicy lemony diesel note across all of it on one side against sugary fruit and sour berry over creamy vanilla, closing on a peppery gas note on the other. Neither wins outright in every seedling.
• Build. On the Loompa's Headband side: indica-leaning, at the more manageable end of the OG family. On the Runtz side: manageable medium height with sturdy lateral branching; dense buds under a serious frost, deep greens and purples. Select early rather than trying to train your way out of it.
• They pull differently. Growers put Loompa's Headband at focused; real indica weight and Runtz at balanced and even. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Loompa's Headband is one of the better-behaved OGs - it leans indica and does not run away from a normal tent. Runtz is a manageable plant with strong laterals, carrying dense flower that frosts hard and colours green through purple.
• Training. Worth the effort early - it is the difference between an even canopy and three colas and a lot of leaf.
• Flowering Time. Runtz runs eight to nine weeks, with fast plants at fifty-five to sixty days. Start checking trichomes a week before you expect to be ready.

Effects and Experience

• The Mind. Growers describe Loompa's Headband as focused; real indica weight.
• The Body. Runtz is reported as balanced and even, and that is the side supplying the weight here.
