Pinks N Purps F2 lot 1 (Purps) leans on Pinks N Purps for its character, a line bred for what it looks like as much as what it does, and sold split by expression.

This is the purple lot. The colour comes down from Mendo Purps, several generations back and still the strongest thing in the line, and these are the plants that expressed it hardest. Deep violet flower, and the darker end of the range this population throws. Selling the lots apart is not a marketing exercise: an F2 segregates, the colour is what it segregates on, and CSI grew the population out and split it rather than making you gamble. You are choosing an expression here, not a different cross.

lot carries a 1 because selections get numbered to stay distinguishable once they leave the room they were made in. It marks this exact mother, and it is the part of the name worth reading closely.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother and Father: Pinks N Purps. A line bred for what it looks like as much as what it does, and sold split by expression. Its own cross is given by CSI as [(Mendo Purps x Killer Queen) x Hawaiian Indica] F2 crossed to Afghani #1. The name is literal. The fluorescent pink hairs come down from the Hawaiian grandmother and the purple flower from Mendo Purps further back. The lots are not different crosses - they are different colour expressions selected out of the same F2 population.
• Preservation, not novelty. A cut this old has no seed history - it has been passed hand to hand. A self is the only route to a packet, and the only way the line outlives the people currently holding it.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. One population, three looks - green, pink through lavender, and deep purple.
• Vegetative Phase and Stretch. Shape the plant before the flip. Correcting a frame in week six is harder work than setting it in week two.
