Purple Afghani x Purple Punch brings Purple Hindu Kush together with Purple Punch. The first is a purple Hindu Kush selection, indica to the core; the second, Larry OG crossed to Granddaddy Purple, and the plant that set the bar for sweet. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. CSI breed off held clones rather than off seed stock, which is why the parents named on the pack are the actual plants and not their descendants.

Order matters in a cross name. In Purple Afghani x Purple Punch the Purple Hindu Kush side supplied the seed and Purple Punch the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two profiles that stay distinguishable rather than collapsing into one.

• The Aroma. Sweet earth and grape with a hash note under it from the Purple Hindu Kush side, against grape candy first, then blueberry muffin and tropical punch from the Purple Punch side.
• The Taste. Grape and berry with earth and spice behind it up front, turning to sweet candy-grape, vanilla and tart berry, closing on a faint earthy spice through the exhale.

• They are not on the same clock. Purple Hindu Kush runs seven to eight weeks; Purple Punch runs seven to nine weeks indoors. Across a pack that gap shows up as plants finishing days or weeks apart.
