Purple Punch x F1 Durbs brings Purple Punch together with F1 Durb. The first is a Larry OG and Granddaddy Purple cross that made grape candy a category; the second, the F1 Durb clone, preserved through Cookie Monster's cut and reversed by CSI in tiny numbers. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. What CSI sell is access to their clone collection in seed form. The parents are the cuts themselves, not a line bred to resemble them.

Order matters in a cross name. In Purple Punch x F1 Durbs the Purple Punch side supplied the seed and F1 Durb the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

• What to expect across a pack. Two distinct parents means real variation in frame, finish and nose. Select early and take cuttings off anything you would want again.
