Sour Diesel x Irene Kush puts Sour Diesel over Irene Kush. One is the East Coast benchmark for aggressive chemical fuel; the other is also called Irene OG, a Deep South cut kept almost entirely for its terpenes. Two very different plants, and the point of the cross is what sits between them. Humboldt CSI work almost entirely from clones they hold themselves, so both sides of this are the real thing rather than a seed-line approximation of it.

That one comes from traced to an unknown Emerald Triangle plant crossed to Hindu Kush, and widely taken to descend from California OG Kush. CSI recommend a nutrient-rich organic soil with good micronutrient content to bring the terpenes out; it is among the hardest clones they have reversed.
• What to expect across a pack. Two distinct parents means real variation in frame, finish and nose. Select early and take cuttings off anything you would want again.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

• The Aroma. Aggressively chemical and pungent with greasy resin from the Sour Diesel side, against classic Kush sweetness and pine with an unusual sour diesel edge running through it from the Irene Kush side.
