Strawberry Headband (Headband X Raskal Berries) is Loompa's Headband crossed to Raskal Berries. Loompa's Headband is the Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG. Raskal Berries is OG Raskal's berry plant crossed onto the house male. Between them they cover ground neither reaches alone. Their reputation rests on stability, and stability comes from reusing parents you understand rather than chasing novelty on both sides of a cross.

Written this way, Loompa's Headband is the mother and Raskal Berries the pollen donor. Reversing a cross is not a formality; which plant carries the seed shapes what comes out of the pack.

• Mother: Loompa's Headband. The Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG. Parentage: OG Kush x Sour Diesel, roughly sixty-forty indica.
• Father: Raskal Berries. Raskal Berries - now used as a parent more often than it is sold as a pack. Built from given as White Strawberry x Blue Power. The point of the cross was practical: Blue Power pulled the flowering time down and improved how the finished flower looks, without giving up what White Strawberry brought.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Expect the profile to move plant to plant rather than settle.

• The Aroma. Earth, pine and citrus with a little fuel under it, and a spiced lemon-diesel thread running the length of it from the Loompa's Headband side, against sweet berry with kush behind it from the Raskal Berries side.
• The Taste. Lemon and diesel giving way to dank kush and earthy herbs, spiced at the finish up front, turning to berry first, kush after through the exhale.

• Timing. Raskal Berries runs fast - forty-five to fifty-five days, and that is the half of this cross you can actually plan around.
• Two noses, one pack. Loompa's Headband contributes rich earth with pine and citrus over a hint of fuel, and a spicy lemony diesel note across all of it. Raskal Berries contributes sweet berry with kush behind it. Which dominates is the main thing that varies.
• Two frames in one pack. Loompa's Headband is indica-leaning, at the more manageable end of the OG family. Raskal Berries is sativa-leaning at around seventy thirty, yielding four to six hundred grams a square metre. Decide which suits your room before you flip, because you get both.
