TK Bandana (Triangle Kush x Headband) sits between Triangle Kush and Loompa's Headband: the Florida clone a lot of people credit with starting the OG line, named for the Jacksonville-Miami-Tampa triangle on one side, the Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG on the other. The father here is house stock and its behaviour is well known; the mother is what makes this pack different from the last one.

Order matters in a cross name. In TK Bandana (Triangle Kush x Headband) the Triangle Kush side supplied the seed and Loompa's Headband the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Triangle Kush. The Florida cut behind a great deal of the OG family. Lighter on the pine and cleaner-fluid terpenes than its reputation suggests, which is why breeders pair it with louder cuts; Humboldt CSI's 5150 is their pick out of a large Triangle Kush S1 population.
• Father: Loompa's Headband. The Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG. Its own cross is OG Kush x Sour Diesel, roughly sixty-forty indica.
• What the cross is reaching for. One side brings the structure and the other brings the nose. The plants worth keeping out of a pack are the ones that hold both rather than picking a side.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The nose is where these two argue hardest.

• The Aroma. OG earth and pine, held back rather than shouted from the Triangle Kush side, against rich earth with pine and citrus over a hint of fuel, and a spicy lemony diesel note across all of it from the Loompa's Headband side.
• The Taste. Earthy pine with OG weight behind it, cleaner at the finish than at the start up front, turning to lemon and diesel turning to dank kush and earthy herbs with a spiced finish through the exhale.
