Triangle Kush x ChemDog D brings Triangle Kush together with Chem D. The first is the Florida cut behind a great deal of the OG family; the second, the Chem family's workhorse and the cut most breeders reach for first. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. What CSI sell is access to their clone collection in seed form. The parents are the cuts themselves, not a line bred to resemble them.

Triangle Kush sits on the seed side here, Chem D on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Triangle Kush. The Florida cut behind a great deal of the OG family. Lighter on the pine and cleaner-fluid terpenes than its reputation suggests, which is why breeders pair it with louder cuts; Humboldt CSI's 5150 is their pick out of a large Triangle Kush S1 population.
• Father: Chem D. The workhorse of the Chem family and the cut breeders reach for most. Its own cross is another phenotype from the same 1991 seed lot. It is the Chem half of Giesel, and one of the most widely used Chem cuts in American breeding.
• Why these two. They are not variations on the same idea. They pull in different directions, and that spread is what makes a pack worth hunting through rather than just growing.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two distinct smells, and a pack will give you both plus everything between.

• The Aroma. OG earth and pine, held back rather than shouted from the Triangle Kush side, against chemical fuel over dark turned earth from the Chem D side.
• The Taste. Pine and earth with OG weight, cleaning up late up front, turning to fuel and earth, greasy and coating, finishing sour through the exhale.

The two halves, side by side

• Timing. Triangle Kush runs eight to nine weeks, reported sixty-three to seventy-seven days with most growers near seventy, and that is the half of this cross you can actually plan around.
• Two noses, one pack. Triangle Kush contributes classic OG earth and pine, noticeably restrained rather than loud. Chem D contributes chemical fuel over dark turned earth. Which dominates is the main thing that varies.
• Structure varies hard here. Stocky and bushy at moderate indoor height, up to two metres outdoors; vegs vigorously and throws heavy foliage; takes trimming, defoliation and lollipopping well; dense bright green flower under heavy resin from one parent; open and loose rather than compact, wants support once the colas load from the other. Plan the canopy for the taller outcome.
• Opposite ends. Triangle Kush is reported as the potent, focused end of the OG family; Chem D as alert and head-forward rather than heavy. The cross sits somewhere between and moves plant to plant.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Triangle Kush is a big, leafy, vigorous grower - bushy indoors, capable of two metres outside - that responds to being worked: trim it, defoliate it, lollipop it, and the bright green flower underneath comes in dense and greasy. Chem D is open and loose rather than compact, wants support once the colas load.
• Vegetative Phase. Top or train before you flip rather than chasing the canopy afterwards.
• Flowering Time. Triangle Kush runs eight to nine weeks, reported sixty-three to seventy-seven days with most growers near seventy. Start checking trichomes a week before you expect to be ready.
