Triangle kush x Bubblegum puts Triangle Kush over Indiana Bubblegum. One is the Florida cut that sits at the root of the OG family and has fathered more of the modern index than almost anything else; the other is the original Indiana bubblegum plant, and the standard every later candy strain is measured against. Two very different plants, and the point of the cross is what sits between them. Both parents here are cuts CSI keep in their own room. That is the whole difference between this and a seed line named after the same strains.

Written this way, Triangle Kush is the mother and Indiana Bubblegum the pollen donor. Reversing a cross is not a formality; which plant carries the seed shapes what comes out of the pack.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Triangle Kush. The Florida clone often credited with giving OG Kush its origin, named for the triangle of Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa. Lighter on the pine and cleaner-fluid terpenes than its reputation suggests, which is why breeders pair it with louder cuts; Humboldt CSI's 5150 is their pick out of a large Triangle Kush S1 population.
• Father: Indiana Bubblegum. A genuine 1990s Indiana survivor and still the reference for what sweet should smell like. Wants a moderate level of experience.
• Why these two. They are not variations on the same idea. They pull in different directions, and that spread is what makes a pack worth hunting through rather than just growing.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two distinct smells, and a pack will give you both plus everything between.

• The Aroma. Quiet OG earth and pine from the Triangle Kush side, against pink bubblegum, cotton candy and strawberry taffy over vanilla cream with a faint hash note from the Indiana Bubblegum side.
• The Taste. Pine and earth with OG weight, cleaning up late up front, turning to cotton candy and ripe berry with a creamy finish through the exhale.

What each side brings

• Two different harvest dates. Eight to nine weeks, reported sixty-three to seventy-seven days with most growers near seventy for Triangle Kush, seven to eight weeks, some reporting sixty to sixty-five days for Indiana Bubblegum. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.
• Where the nose comes from. One side gives classic OG earth and pine, noticeably restrained rather than loud; the other gives pink bubblegum first, then cotton candy, strawberry taffy and vanilla cream, with ripe berry and a faint hash note. Plants landing in the middle are the keepers.
• Two frames in one pack. Triangle Kush is stocky and bushy at moderate indoor height, up to two metres outdoors; vegs vigorously and throws heavy foliage; takes trimming, defoliation and lollipopping well; dense bright green flower under heavy resin. Indiana Bubblegum is medium-tall on a slender, sparse frame; roughly doubles in height after the flip; heavy trichome coverage on dense buds. Decide which suits your room before you flip, because you get both.
• They pull differently. Growers put Triangle Kush at the potent, focused end of the OG family and Indiana Bubblegum at softer and more relaxed. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.

Triangle Kush is a busy, leafy plant that vegs hard and wants working on - defoliate it, lollipop it, and it rewards the effort with dense resinous flower. Indiana Bubblegum is medium-tall on a slender, sparse frame; roughly doubles in height after the flip; heavy trichome coverage on dense buds.
• Vegetative Phase and Stretch. Shape the plant before the flip. Correcting a frame in week six is harder work than setting it in week two.
• Flowering Time. The parents are not on the same clock.
