Triangle Kush x Lemon Party brings Triangle Kush together with Lemon Party. The first is the Florida cut behind a great deal of the OG family; the second, CSI's own lemon cut, which they identify as a Lemon Tree selection. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. These are held cuts, not recreations. CSI's entire catalogue works that way, and it is the reason their crosses are worth chasing.

Order matters in a cross name. In Triangle Kush x Lemon Party the Triangle Kush side supplied the seed and Lemon Party the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Triangle Kush. The Florida clone often credited with giving OG Kush its origin, named for the triangle of Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa. Lighter on the pine and cleaner-fluid terpenes than its reputation suggests, which is why breeders pair it with louder cuts; Humboldt CSI's 5150 is their pick out of a large Triangle Kush S1 population.
• Father: Lemon Party. A Lemon Tree pick CSI keep in house, and one of the loudest citrus plants anyone runs. That one comes from a cut of Lemon Tree.
• Why it is worth a pack rather than a look. The two sides are far enough apart that seedlings genuinely differ. That range is the product.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Expect the profile to move plant to plant rather than settle.

• The Aroma. Quiet for an OG - earth and a light pine backbone instead of anything sharp from the Triangle Kush side, against sharp zesty lemon and sugary citrus, described as overpowering candied lemon and super pungent from the Lemon Party side.
• The Taste. Earthy pine with OG weight behind it, cleaner at the finish than at the start up front, turning to citrus through the exhale.

How the two sides differ

• Two different harvest dates. Eight to nine weeks, reported sixty-three to seventy-seven days with most growers near seventy for Triangle Kush, around sixty-five days, reported sixty to seventy for Lemon Party. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.
• The smell is a negotiation. Classic og earth and pine, noticeably restrained rather than loud on one side against sharp zesty lemon and sugary citrus, described as overpowering candied lemon and super pungent on the other. Neither wins outright in every seedling.
• Structure varies hard here. Stocky and bushy at moderate indoor height, up to two metres outdoors; vegs vigorously and throws heavy foliage; takes trimming, defoliation and lollipopping well; dense bright green flower under heavy resin from one parent; medium height, indoors or outdoors; flowers heavily coated in trichomes with vibrant orange pistils from the other. Plan the canopy for the taller outcome.
• Opposite ends. Triangle Kush is reported as the potent, focused end of the OG family; Lemon Party as bright and lifting rather than heavy. The cross sits somewhere between and moves plant to plant.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Triangle Kush is a big, leafy, vigorous grower - bushy indoors, capable of two metres outside - that responds to being worked: trim it, defoliate it, lollipop it, and the bright green flower underneath comes in dense and greasy. Lemon Party is a mid-sized plant that frosts over completely, with orange pistils cutting through the white.
• Veg and stretch. Set the frame while it is cheap to do. Anything you fix after the flip costs you flower sites.
• Flowering Time. The parents are not on the same clock.
