UK Cheese x Lemon tree sits between UK Cheese and Lemon Tree: the Exodus clone - one Skunk #1 plant found in Britain around 1990 and never let go of on one side, Lemon Skunk over Sour Diesel, selected out of a large hunt in the Santa Cruz mountains on the other. These are held cuts, not recreations. CSI's entire catalogue works that way, and it is the reason their crosses are worth chasing.

UK Cheese sits on the seed side here, Lemon Tree on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: UK Cheese. The Exodus clone - one Skunk #1 plant found in Britain around 1990 and never let go of. Built from a Skunk #1 phenotype, not a cross. Famously forgiving and often recommended to beginners; spread by the Exodus Collective.
• Father: Lemon Tree. Lemon Skunk crossed to Sour Diesel, made in the early 2000s around Santa Cruz out of a large phenotype hunt. Its own cross is Lemon Skunk x Sour Diesel.
• Why these two. They are not variations on the same idea. They pull in different directions, and that spread is what makes a pack worth hunting through rather than just growing.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The nose is where these two argue hardest.

• The Aroma. Tangy cheddar over earthy, skunky sweetness, loud enough to fill a house from the UK Cheese side, against bright citrus with diesel weight holding it down from the Lemon Tree side.
• The Taste. Sour and cheesy with skunk underneath, finishing earthy and lingering up front, turning to zesty and sour turning heavier and more diesel-driven through the exhale.

How the two sides differ

• Two different harvest dates. Seven to nine weeks depending on source for UK Cheese, eight to ten weeks for Lemon Tree. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.
• Two noses, one pack. UK Cheese contributes tangy cheddar over earthy, skunky sweetness, loud enough to fill a house. Lemon Tree contributes sharp lemon and citrus over a fuel base. Which dominates is the main thing that varies.
• Two frames in one pack. UK Cheese is slender, vine-like branches carrying spear-shaped colas with big swollen calyxes under a dense sticky trichome coat; grows with real vigour despite leaning indica. Lemon Tree is medium height, around ninety to a hundred centimetres indoors. Decide which suits your room before you flip, because you get both.
• They pull differently. Growers put UK Cheese at balanced and sociable; slight indica weight and Lemon Tree at bright and uplifting rather than heavy. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.

• Training. Worth the effort early - it is the difference between an even canopy and three colas and a lot of leaf.
• Flowering Time. The parents are not on the same clock. UK Cheese runs seven to nine weeks depending on source, Lemon Tree eight to ten weeks. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.
