Virgin Purple (Pure Og x Purple Urkle) is Pure OG Kush crossed to Purple Urkle. Pure OG Kush is the first OG Kush clone CSI ever held, most likely an early OG Kush S1 from the late 1990s or the start of the 2000s. Purple Urkle is the Emerald Triangle purple keeper that most of California's colour reputation rests on. Between them they cover ground neither reaches alone. These are held cuts, not recreations. CSI's entire catalogue works that way, and it is the reason their crosses are worth chasing.

Pure OG Kush sits on the seed side here, Purple Urkle on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Pure OG Kush. The first OG Kush clone CSI ever held, most likely an early OG Kush S1 from the late 1990s or the start of the 2000s. CSI put its willingness to hybridize down to that S1 background.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The nose is where these two argue hardest.

• The Aroma. The classic OG signature - earth and pine with a fuel edge from the Pure OG Kush side, against grape and berry with a musky, skunky floor under it from the Purple Urkle side.
• The Taste. Earthy and piney with OG weight, finishing sharper than it starts up front, turning to grape and berry turning earthy and musky through the exhale.

• Timing. Purple Urkle runs around eight weeks indoors, inside a seven to nine week window, and that is the half of this cross you can actually plan around.
