White Fire 43 x Cali Orange brings White Fire together with California Orange. The first is WiFi - Fire OG Kush over The White, with #43 the best-known cut; the second, a 1980s heirloom off 1970s California stock, inbred ever since, and CSI run the AE77 cut of it. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. Every parent CSI use is a cut they keep alive themselves, so nothing in this pack is a reconstruction of a famous name.

43 identifies the White Fire used here. Numbered cuts come out of a population that was grown and sorted, and the number rides with the plant that was kept. Two crosses that both say White Fire are only the same cross if the number matches too.

White Fire sits on the seed side here, California Orange on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: White Fire. WiFi - Fire OG Kush over The White, with #43 the best-known cut. Given as Fire OG Kush x The White. The #43 cut is the one that travels - Humboldt CSI use it in Three Queens, and it turns up in other breeders' work under the same number.
• Father: California Orange. The AE77 cut of a California heirloom that has been inbred since the early eighties. Given as a 50/50 hybrid crossed in the 1980s.
• What the cross is reaching for. One side brings the structure and the other brings the nose. The plants worth keeping out of a pack are the ones that hold both rather than picking a side.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The two halves stack rather than blend, which is the whole reason to run it.

• The Aroma. OG earth, pine and fuel from the White Fire side, against ripe orange and mandarin over an earthy base - sweet, penetrating citrus from the California Orange side.
• The Taste. Earthy and piney with OG weight up front, turning to bright citrus zest with a sweet-earth finish through the exhale.

• Timing. California Orange runs around nine weeks, and that is the half of this cross you can actually plan around.
• The smell is a negotiation. Og earth, pine and fuel on one side against ripe orange and mandarin over an earthy base - sweet, penetrating citrus on the other. Neither wins outright in every seedling.
• Structure varies hard here. Heavy resin from the white side from one parent; compact and very resinous with a good flower-to-leaf ratio; resilient to common pests and disease; easy to grow and among the easiest plants there is to clone from the other. Plan the canopy for the taller outcome.
• They pull differently. Growers put White Fire at potent and focused and California Orange at bright and even rather than heavy. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.
