There are two very different things inside Wild wild west (SFV og x Pakistani Purple Kush). SFV OG, the San Fernando Valley OG, Swerve's cut out of Cali Connection. And Purple Hindu Kush, a purple Hindu Kush selection, indica to the core. What CSI sell is access to their clone collection in seed form. The parents are the cuts themselves, not a line bred to resemble them.

SFV OG sits on the seed side here, Purple Hindu Kush on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: SFV OG. SFV OG - the San Fernando Valley cut of OG Kush. That one comes from an OG Kush phenotype worked with an Afghani from Homegrown Fantaseeds. Swerve's original is clone-only. It took third in the indica category at the 2012 Amsterdam Cannabis Cup and first at the Denver Cup the same year.
• Father: Purple Hindu Kush. A fast, deeply coloured indica out of the Hindu Kush line. Its own cross is Hindu Kush x Purple Afghani.
• What the cross is reaching for. One side brings the structure and the other brings the nose. The plants worth keeping out of a pack are the ones that hold both rather than picking a side.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The two halves stack rather than blend, which is the whole reason to run it.

• The Aroma. Sharp lemon zest and pine resin over a deep diesel base from the SFV OG side, against earthy, piney and spicy with strong grape and berry over a pungent base from the Purple Hindu Kush side.
• The Taste. Lemon, pine and petrol - the classic Kush-cut flavour up front, turning to grape and berry with earth and spice behind it through the exhale.

Where the parents disagree

• They are not on the same clock. SFV OG runs eight to nine weeks, and it yields well; Purple Hindu Kush runs seven to eight weeks. Across a pack that gap shows up as plants finishing days or weeks apart.
• Where the nose comes from. One side gives sharp lemon zest and pine resin over a deep diesel base; the other gives earthy, piney and spicy with strong grape and berry over a pungent base. Plants landing in the middle are the keepers.
• Two frames in one pack. SFV OG is medium in veg at ninety to a hundred and thirty centimetres indoors, then it stretches hard for the first three weeks of flower and opens its internodes right up. Purple Hindu Kush is dense resinous buds in deep purple with bright orange pistils under a thick trichome coat; colour develops as temperatures drop in flower. Decide which suits your room before you flip, because you get both.
• Opposite ends. SFV OG is reported as indica-dominant OG weight; Purple Hindu Kush as indica and settling. The cross sits somewhere between and moves plant to plant.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. SFV OG is medium in veg at ninety to a hundred and thirty centimetres indoors, then it stretches hard for the first three weeks of flower and opens its internodes right up. Purple Hindu Kush is short and broad in the mountain-indica shape, colouring hard.
• Veg and stretch. Set the frame while it is cheap to do. Anything you fix after the flip costs you flower sites.
• Flowering Time. The parents are not on the same clock. SFV OG runs eight to nine weeks, and it yields well, Purple Hindu Kush seven to eight weeks. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.

• The Mind. Growers describe SFV OG as indica-dominant OG weight.
• The Body. Purple Hindu Kush is reported as indica and settling, and that is the side supplying the weight here.
