Zkittlez x Bubblegum is Zkittlez crossed to Indiana Bubblegum. Zkittlez is Grape Ape crossed to Grapefruit, and the modern benchmark for candy terpenes. Indiana Bubblegum is a genuine 1990s Indiana survivor and still the reference for what sweet should smell like. Between them they cover ground neither reaches alone. CSI breed off held clones rather than off seed stock, which is why the parents named on the pack are the actual plants and not their descendants.

Zkittlez sits on the seed side here, Indiana Bubblegum on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The nose is where these two argue hardest.

• The Aroma. A sharp tropical medley of sweet citrus candy and sour berries with a soft herbal undertone from the Zkittlez side, against pink bubblegum first, then cotton candy, strawberry taffy and vanilla cream, with ripe berry and a faint hash note from the Indiana Bubblegum side.
• The Taste. Mixed fruit sweets up front, turning to cotton candy and ripe berry with a creamy finish through the exhale.

What each side brings

• Two different harvest dates. Eight to nine weeks indoors, reported elsewhere at nine to ten for Zkittlez, seven to eight weeks, some reporting sixty to sixty-five days for Indiana Bubblegum. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.
• Where the nose comes from. One side gives a sharp tropical medley of sweet citrus candy and sour berries with a soft herbal undertone; the other gives pink bubblegum first, then cotton candy, strawberry taffy and vanilla cream, with ripe berry and a faint hash note. Plants landing in the middle are the keepers.
• Structure varies hard here. Compact with tight internodes and thick fan leaves; glassy buds under a wet-looking frost from one parent; medium-tall on a slender, sparse frame; roughly doubles in height after the flip; heavy trichome coverage on dense buds from the other.
