Chem #1 S1 is the Chem 91 cut selfed onto itself, so both halves of every seed come from that one plant. Chem 91 is the plant the Chem name was built on, known equally as Chem 91 and the SKVA cut, and a self is the only way a clone-only cut like it has ever reached a seed packet. It carries pungent turned earth and diesel with pine and citrus behind it. What you are buying is a look inside one plant rather than a blend of two.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother and Father: Chem 91, selfed. The SKVA cut, the original Chemdog '91 and the clone the whole Chem family is named after. Given as one of thirteen seeds from a bag bought at a Grateful Dead show in 1991. Skunk VA was given a cut in 1995 and has held it since, which is why the line survives.
• What a reversal is for. It puts a clone-only plant into seed without introducing anything foreign. That is preservation work rather than breeding, and it is most of what Humboldt CSI actually do.
• Reading a pack of a self. There is no second parent introducing anything new. Selfing surfaces traits the clone carries quietly, so expect range rather than uniformity, and that spread is the point.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

• The Aroma. Heavy diesel and soil with a thin pine and citrus line at the back.
• The Taste. Greasy and mouth-coating - fuel, then earth and pine, sour at the finish.
