Headspace (Headband/La Kush x Space Queen) crosses Loompa's Headband to Space Queen, the Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG against a BC cross of Romulan to Cinderella 99, and one of the classic balanced hybrids. Neither is a filler parent, which is why this pairing is worth a pack rather than a look. These are held cuts, not recreations. CSI's entire catalogue works that way, and it is the reason their crosses are worth chasing.

Loompa's Headband sits on the seed side here, Space Queen on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

• Mother: Loompa's Headband. The Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG. Built from OG Kush x Sour Diesel, roughly sixty-forty indica.
• Father: Space Queen. Vic High's Romulan crossed to Cinderella 99. Parentage: given as Romulan x Cinderella 99. Cinderella 99 brings the tropical terpinolene lift and the fast finish; Romulan brings the resin, the heavier calyx and the body weight. Bred by Vic High of the BC Growers Association and later popularised by Subcool.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Neither parent is subtle, and the cross has nowhere quiet to go.

• The Aroma. Earthy and piney with citrus, a little fuel underneath, and a spiced lemon-diesel note over the whole thing from the Loompa's Headband side, against tropical fruit off the Cinderella 99 side from the Space Queen side.
• The Taste. Lemon-diesel opening onto herbal kush and earth, spiced at the close up front, turning to sweet and fruit-forward through the exhale.

• Timing. Space Queen runs fifty to sixty days - call it seven to nine weeks, and that is the half of this cross you can actually plan around.
• The smell is a negotiation. Rich earth with pine and citrus over a hint of fuel, and a spicy lemony diesel note across all of it on one side against tropical fruit off the Cinderella 99 side on the other. Neither wins outright in every seedling.
• Two frames in one pack. Loompa's Headband is indica-leaning, at the more manageable end of the OG family. Space Queen is grows well in or out, with modest to above-average yields. Decide which suits your room before you flip, because you get both.
