Genetic Lineage

• Mother and Father: Deep Chunk. Tom Hill's pure Afghani IBL, in California since the late 1970s. A true inbred line selected from seed carried out of Afghanistan, and stabilised by Tom Hill. It breeds true across many traits, which is why it turns up in so many other people's breeding programmes.
• Why it exists as seed at all. Clone-only cuts travel as cuttings, which means they survive only as long as somebody keeps them alive. Reversing one onto itself is how a plant like this stops depending on a single grower's luck.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

• The Aroma. Skunk through hashy pine, with grapefruit, chocolate and coffee in the range.
• The Taste. Dark coffee and chocolate over earth, with sour fruit, skunk and pine.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. A short squat plant with thick stems and short internodes, though it will size up with a longer veg. Tight compact flower, often with purple or deep red in it, and resin of a high order.
• Before the flip. Decide the shape now. These lines do not tidy themselves up once they are running.
• Flowering Time. Deep Chunk runs about fifty-six days indoors, September outdoors. Start checking trichomes a week before you expect to be ready.

• The Mind. Growers describe Deep Chunk as the heavy Afghani body effect.
• The Body. Reported in line with that. This is not a plant described as pulling in two directions.
