Take Papaya, Nirvana's tropical indica, and about as loud on the nose as anything in the catalogue, and put it over White Nightmare, the sativa half of Sin City's house stock. That is Frozen Papaya (Papaya x White Nightmare). The known parent is doing real work here - it is what turns an interesting pairing into a line that comes out the same way twice.

Order matters in a cross name. In Frozen Papaya (Papaya x White Nightmare) the Papaya side supplied the seed and White Nightmare the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

• Mother: Papaya. The Nirvana tropical indica - fruit-forward and unusually pungent with it. Built from given as Citral #13 crossed to Ice #2. The citrus comes from the Citral side and the hash weight from Ice - the two halves are doing visibly different jobs.
• Father: White Nightmare. White Nightmare - the resin-heavy sativa side of the programme. Built from Sin City give it as Blue Dream crossed to White Moonshine. The parentage is written two ways. Sin City's own product naming gives Blue Dream x White Moonshine, while several third-party listings give it as The White crossed to Blue Dream. Those are not the same claim - White Moonshine is itself The White x Blue Moonshine, so the second version drops a parent. The breeder's own statement is the one to go on.
• Why it is worth a pack rather than a look. The two sides are far enough apart that seedlings genuinely differ. That range is the product.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

• The Aroma. Ripe papaya and mango over peppery spice and sweet fruit syrup, with an odd tobacco or whiskey note underneath.
• The Taste. Tropical fruit with the pepper following it.
