Kerosene Candy (Motorbreath X Raskal Berries) puts Motorbreath over Raskal Berries. One is Pisces Genetics' fuel plant, and a foundation of modern gas breeding; the other is OG Raskal's White Strawberry put over the Blue Power male. Two very different plants, and the point of the cross is what sits between them. The known parent is doing real work here - it is what turns an interesting pairing into a line that comes out the same way twice.

Motorbreath sits on the seed side here, Raskal Berries on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Motorbreath. Motorbreath - Chem D over SFV OG, and the #15 cut is the one that matters. Built from given as a Chem D cut crossed to SFV OG Kush. Bred by Jimmy Nitz. The #15 selection is the one everybody means, and its Chem D cut came directly from Chemdog with nobody in between - which is why it carries the weight it does. It took first place in the recreational hybrid category at the 2015 THC Championship.
• Father: Raskal Berries. White Strawberry crossed onto Blue Power, and now a house parent itself. Its own cross is given as White Strawberry x Blue Power. The point of the cross was practical: Blue Power pulled the flowering time down and improved how the finished flower looks, without giving up what White Strawberry brought.
• What to expect across a pack. Two distinct parents means real variation in frame, finish and nose. Select early and take cuttings off anything you would want again.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The two halves stack rather than blend, which is the whole reason to run it.

• The Aroma. Pungent fuel with citrus behind it from the Motorbreath side, against sweet fruit with a kush floor under it from the Raskal Berries side.
• The Taste. Fuel first, citrus after up front, turning to berry and kush together through the exhale.

What each side brings

• Timing splits the pack. One parent wants around sixty-eight days, so nine and a half to ten weeks, the other fast - forty-five to fifty-five days. Expect the fast plants down well before the slow ones are ready.
• Where the nose comes from. One side gives pungent fuel with citrus behind it; the other gives sweet berry with kush behind it. Plants landing in the middle are the keepers.
• Build. On the Motorbreath side: mostly indica. On the Raskal Berries side: sativa-leaning at around seventy thirty, yielding four to six hundred grams a square metre. Select early rather than trying to train your way out of it.
• They pull differently. Growers put Motorbreath at heavy, and it tests high - twenty-five to twenty-eight percent is the usual range and Raskal Berries at uplifting from the White Strawberry side, with body weight and resin from Blue Power. Which end a plant lands on is the main variable.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Motorbreath is mostly indica. Raskal Berries is sativa-leaning at around seventy thirty, yielding four to six hundred grams a square metre.
• Vegetative Phase and Stretch. Shape the plant before the flip. Correcting a frame in week six is harder work than setting it in week two.
• Flowering Time. The parents are not on the same clock. Motorbreath runs around sixty-eight days, so nine and a half to ten weeks, Raskal Berries fast - forty-five to fifty-five days. Judge each plant on trichomes rather than pulling the room together.
