Purple Turban (Headband x Purple Afghani) Feminized brings Loompa's Headband together with Purple Hindu Kush. The first is the Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG; the second, a fast, deeply coloured indica out of the Hindu Kush line. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. MzJill has been running these same mothers since the TGA years, which is why the citrus and the structure keep turning up across otherwise unrelated packs.

These are feminized. Every seed should come up female, so there are no males to find and pull and nothing to lose half a tent to. That is the pack to buy if you want a crop out of it rather than a breeding project.

Loompa's Headband sits on the seed side here, Purple Hindu Kush on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Loompa's Headband. The Loompa Farms selection, also called Underdawg OG. It traces back to OG Kush x Sour Diesel, roughly sixty-forty indica.
• Father: Purple Hindu Kush. A purple Hindu Kush selection, indica to the core. Given as Hindu Kush x Purple Afghani.
• How to read it. Everything below splits into what one parent gives and what the other does. Plants that take from both are the ones to keep.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

The two halves stack rather than blend, which is the whole reason to run it.

• The Aroma. Earthy and piney with citrus, a little fuel underneath, and a spiced lemon-diesel note over the whole thing from the Loompa's Headband side, against sweet earth and grape with hash underneath from the Purple Hindu Kush side.
• The Taste. Lemon and diesel giving way to dank kush and earthy herbs, spiced at the finish up front, turning to grape and berry with earth and spice behind it through the exhale.

Where the parents disagree

• What to budget. The documented side, Purple Hindu Kush, runs seven to eight weeks. Set the room to that and let the plants correct you.
• The smell is a negotiation. Rich earth with pine and citrus over a hint of fuel, and a spicy lemony diesel note across all of it on one side against earthy, piney and spicy with strong grape and berry over a pungent base on the other. Neither wins outright in every seedling.
• Two frames in one pack. Loompa's Headband is indica-leaning, at the more manageable end of the OG family. Purple Hindu Kush is dense resinous buds in deep purple with bright orange pistils under a thick trichome coat; colour develops as temperatures drop in flower. Decide which suits your room before you flip, because you get both.
• Opposite ends. Loompa's Headband is reported as focused; real indica weight; Purple Hindu Kush as indica and settling. The cross sits somewhere between and moves plant to plant.

Cultivation and Growth Traits

• Plant Structure. The two parents disagree here, so plan for range. Loompa's Headband is one of the better-behaved OGs - it leans indica and does not run away from a normal tent. Purple Hindu Kush is short and broad in the mountain-indica shape, colouring hard.
• Training. Worth the effort early - it is the difference between an even canopy and three colas and a lot of leaf.
• Flowering Time. Purple Hindu Kush runs seven to eight weeks. Start checking trichomes a week before you expect to be ready.

• The Mind. Growers describe Loompa's Headband as focused; real indica weight.
• The Body. Purple Hindu Kush is reported as indica and settling, and that is the side supplying the weight here.
