Rest In Peace brings Ghost OG together with Chem 91. The first is an original OG Kush cut out of the early Florida scene, named for the grower who spread it; the second, the SKVA cut - the original Chemdog '91 and the clone the family takes its name from. Two lines that were never going to produce a quiet plant. Humboldt CSI work almost entirely from clones they hold themselves, so both sides of this are the real thing rather than a seed-line approximation of it.

Order matters in a cross name. In Rest In Peace the Ghost OG side supplied the seed and Chem 91 the pollen, and the reciprocal - the same two plants the other way round - is a separate breeding decision with its own results.

Genetic Lineage

• Mother: Ghost OG. An original OG Kush cut out of the early Florida scene, named for the grower who spread it. Given as traced to the Ghost cut of OG Kush, itself given as an unknown Emerald Triangle plant crossed to Neville's Hindu Kush. It reached its keeper the long way round: ORGNKID sold an OG cut to an Overgrow forum member called Ghost, who kept it and passed it on. Whether it is a selfed phenotype or a direct clone off the original line is still argued over. Either way its stability is why breeders keep reaching for it as a parent.
• Father: Chem 91. The SKVA cut, the original Chemdog '91 and the clone the whole Chem family is named after. Its own cross is one of thirteen seeds from a bag bought at a Grateful Dead show in 1991. Skunk VA was given a cut in 1995 and has held it since, which is why the line survives.
• Why these two. They are not variations on the same idea. They pull in different directions, and that spread is what makes a pack worth hunting through rather than just growing.

Flavor and Aroma Profile
