Chemghani (Kandahar black x chem d x 88g13hp) stacks three plants rather than two: Kandahar Black, Chem D and 88g13 Hash Plant. Chem D is the most-used of the 1991 Chem phenotypes, and the one sitting behind Giesel. 88g13 Hash Plant is the hash-plant father Bodhi run over old material. Between them they cover ground neither reaches alone. A Bodhi pack is a proposition about a father. The mother supplies the character; the father decides how much of it survives.

Kandahar Black sits on the seed side here, with Chem D and the 88g13 Hash Plant male on the pollen side. If you have seen these two names paired the other way round, that is a different pack and not this one.

Genetic Lineage

• First parent: Kandahar black. A working plant rather than a product. Much of what Bodhi keeps has never been sold on its own.
• Second parent: Chem D. The Chem family's workhorse and the cut most breeders reach for first. Parentage: another phenotype from the same 1991 seed lot. It is the Chem half of Giesel, and one of the most widely used Chem cuts in American breeding.
• Third parent: 88g13 Hash Plant. A G13 and Hash Plant male with an unusually well-documented provenance. Its own cross is given as G13 crossed to a Hash Plant and Northern Lights #1 line. It was bred by NDNguy from stock Neville Schoenmaker gave him, which is most of why it carries the reputation it does.
• The point of the pairing. Neither parent needed rescuing. Putting them together is about what sits between them, not about fixing either one.

Flavor and Aroma Profile

Two distinct smells, and a pack will give you both plus everything between.

• The Aroma. Solvent and heavy earth, with nothing sweet anywhere in it from the Chem D side, against burnt rubber and skunk with old hash underneath, loud but not domineering from the 88g13 Hash Plant side.
• The Taste. Fuel and earth, greasy and coating, finishing sour up front, turning to hash and rubber over whatever the mother contributed through the exhale.

• What to budget. The documented side, 88g13 Hash Plant, runs quick, on many of its offspring - it is one of the reasons the male gets used. Set the room to that and let the plants correct you.
• Where the nose comes from. One side gives chemical fuel over dark turned earth; the other gives burnt rubber, skunk and hash - loud, but it does not bury what the mother brings. Plants landing in the middle are the keepers.
• Two frames in one pack. Chem D is open and loose rather than compact, wants support once the colas load. 88g13 Hash Plant is it puts branch strength into its offspring, and many of its crosses finish quickly. Bodhi advise a longer veg with it. Decide which suits your room before you flip, because you get both.
